Westview Products, Inc. invites inquiries concerning dealerships. Westview extends exclusive marketing in agreed-on territories, however, the company does not provide contracts, binding both parties to specified arrangements. All agreements are essentially hand shake agreements that outline the region to be covered and the length of time for each party to notify the other that another course will be followed. There are no franchise fees, and minimal investment for sales aides and training.
Philosophy of a Westview Dealer
A prospective dealer of Westview sunrooms needs to consider that the Westview sunroom is totally custom. Dealers do not take orders from clients, but rather, assist their customers in creating a custom designed living space, skylight or window wall that will enhance the surrounding structure rather than merely add to it. There are many "sunroom" assemblies available in the U.S. market that are basically commodities, which require little creativity or expertise to sell. The Westview sunroom is a custom, premium grade sunroom, designed for year long living, and because it is a premium quality sunroom it typically is among the higher priced rooms on the market. A Westview dealer will need sales skills commensurate with selling to the top 10-15% of the market.
Dealer Incentive
Westview quotes net prices to dealers and does not attempt to establish retail prices. The dealer is required to apply the appropriate profit to sustain the overhead involved. Dealers that bid jobs correctly, installs promptly and secures his funds in a timely manner will do very well.
