International Builders’ Show.
Sierra Pacific Windows formally introduced its new on-trend, contemporary Pivot Door,
which is projected to become an enduring element of the door market.
Sierra Pacific’s Pivot Door provides a contemporary alternative to common traditional entry door systems. It offers clean lines
and epitomizes the simplicity of form and function, according to Vice President of Business Development Bob Taylor.
Functionally, it provides effortless operation, as the weight of the door is carried on top and bottom, instead of being side-loaded.
Making a bold statement as a grand entrance to a home, the Pivot Door is particularly popular in extra-large dimensions. Available sizes range
from 6’ wide up to 10’ high in combination up to 50 square feet.
Design options with the Pivot Door are virtually limitless, Taylor said. “When combined with today’s designer glass options -- such as mirrored,
tinted, frosted, beveled, opaque, and obscured – there is literally no end to the number of stunning design possibilities.”
Another key feature is that the Pivot Door can be matched to the windows and other doors in the home. The entire door and window package,
including trim, stains, paints, colors, and finishes, can be customized to the homeowner’s preference.
